The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

My demands as a conference speaker are simple:

1. My hotel room must be furnished with cushions monogrammed with my initial.

2. I'll need a hotline to The Kremlin, Batman, or @timberners_lee.

So far, @upfrontconf has nailed it. (Although I've not yet needed to try the phone)

@vendure_io @Netlify There isn't. But a common model for people keen on this is to have a release branch which auto deploys on Netlify, and only merge your tagged releases to that branch when you want to publish an update.

@steeevg @Netlify Yes indeed. You can create a CNAME with your current nameserver and point it to @Netlify.

@rem @Netlify There's no option to disable that check.

That will be faster for subsequent builds unless every asset changes. There is some intelligence in the deploy bots to detect if output assets are identical to previously generated assets. So those checks are likely to get more rapid.

Options for automating deployments with @Netlify abound!

Some ideas for using @zapier, @IFTTT or @webtaskio nicely summarised by @tvernon_tech:

@kentcdodds 2 really good options that I like:

1. @zapier
You can schedule webhooks: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/integrations/schedule/1749/check-for-webhooks-every-day
There is an official @Netlify integration:
https://zapier.com/apps/netlify/integrations

2. @webtaskio
You can configure a cron-like schedule to make requests to your Netlify Function.

@rafahari @layoutfm 1. Have you encountered and enjoyed any extra support for PWAs than was available on iOS? Or has that gap closed now?

2. Have you found much difference in the freedom of supported file types and ability to escape iTunes? ⛈

3. Did you miss any tight integrations with OSX toys?
