They've done a good job of training users to blindly accept any notification with a button on it though. Just to get past an annoying, noisy, verbose gate. No matter what access might be included in the weeds.

I take my shoes off the moment I get to my seat and make sure I have comfy socks.
I also avoid alcohol during long flights because it just adds to the dehydration from the dry air and grogginess from jet lag.

@whitep4nth3r Good tips in here already, but my general travel mantra in these times of phones, laptops, noise cancelling headphones, and so on, is ABC.
