The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

Now hosting my first nodejs app properly on Linode. Teafr isn't going to save the world, but a nice cuppa never hurt. (http://is.gd/8oxGr)

Remembering why I don't often run. Lots to do before my upcoming 10k (which I only agreed to because of the promise of a roast dinner!)

Loving @mikemcintyre's dedication, but thinking that he must be a whole other kind of geek.

Google.co.uk seems to be down in our office. I'm sure that there are other search engines... umm... reverting to AskJeeves.

MongoDB is fast and it speaks my language. I'll be trying it out as the database for my next web app project for sure. #nosql #javascript

Wishing that sessions at #fosdem had a few minutes gap between them so that speakers could take questions without such disruption.

Amazed at the scale, and FOSS tools made by Facebook. @daveman692: "we log about 25TB a day.. and serve 1.2 million photos a second" #fosdem

Great stuff from @wimleers at #fosdem. Not only some solid looking Drupal optimisations, but also an excellent, slick presentation.

@jordiv @kchodorow's MongoDB talk at #fosdem was videoed. I don't think that there is a stream, but suspect it will be shared.

Yesterday the HTML5 session seemed like the hottest ticket at #fosdem. Today the NoSQL track is rammed. Squeezing into the MongoDB talk.

Have also noticed the click/tap vocab fork, @dalmaer. A catch-all alternative? 'hit?'. Hoping nobody coins a conjoined term such as 'clap'.
