RT @pooleapp: Including data from your Poole forms in Metalsmith.io builds just got easier thanks to a plugin by @dpobel: https://t.co/nMwP…

@stephenhay I find that while light text on black bg feels nice while you prep it, dark on white bg is the most reliable on projectors

@jaffathecake Prepping some.

@paulcarvill 451, in fact. Damn you for defeating me with a maths-based argument.

@hpoom I much prefer that. I find myself able to read the content!

@givision Not really! But clunky, janky, slow, broken, delayed experience made my laptop hot and I got fed up. Grumble.

Stopped counting http requests at 451 on https://moto360.motorola.com due to the fact that frustration had led me to throw my laptop under a bus

@user24 @adrianolaru PE actually lowers costs by making your dev work for more users by default. Easier QA. Better perceived perf. All wins.

@user24 @adrianolaru I violently disagree. Fighting for a reliable & robust web is vital for its survival. We all lose when links rot.

@user24 @adrianolaru Valuable debate!

@adrianolaru @user24 Yes, for sure. Doing robust work on the web is hard. The landscape is ever changing & often unknown... but so valuable.

@user24 @adrianolaru Yep. It is widespread, but many times more error prone and unpredictable than HTML. I <3 js, but we need a robust base

@adrianolaru @user24 It's a nice thought, but JS support is lumpy, and the device landscape s broad.

@adrianolaru And javascript interpreters are not all equal. We quickly forget the importancs of Postel's Law: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robustness_principle

@adrianolaru Progressive Enhancement is not just about js. Screen size, features, even the network are enhancements. The landscape is uneven

@lawnsea Often supported by "checkout master"

Interesting progress on @brackets recently. Nice integration with Photoshop to extract values to your code: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IdgnbAShnI

@ohwhen Doh! I missed you're visit.

@wwwdylan Oh I don't have a @FronteersConf ticket, I'm afraid. I'm just sulking because I couldn't get there this year.

@craiginwales I agree with @anna_debenham. Not weird, but sounds like a good way to add a load of extra pressure to an already tough day.

More good stuff on the what, why and how of ServiceWorker from @jaffathecake. A great 30minute intro: http://youtu.be/Rr2vXDIVerI

Sadly I can't make it to @FronteersConf this year, but by heck, you should! Great lineup: https://fronteers.nl/congres/2014/venue
