The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@stephenhay I find that while light text on black bg feels nice while you prep it, dark on white bg is the most reliable on projectors

@givision Not really! But clunky, janky, slow, broken, delayed experience made my laptop hot and I got fed up. Grumble.

@user24 @adrianolaru PE actually lowers costs by making your dev work for more users by default. Easier QA. Better perceived perf. All wins.

@user24 @adrianolaru I violently disagree. Fighting for a reliable & robust web is vital for its survival. We all lose when links rot.

@user24 @adrianolaru Yep. It is widespread, but many times more error prone and unpredictable than HTML. I <3 js, but we need a robust base

@adrianolaru @user24 It's a nice thought, but JS support is lumpy, and the device landscape s broad.
