The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@LeaVerou @Netlify @letsencrypt I really like how timely that CTA is. Right at the point of benefiting from their free cert provisioning, and while your mind is in 'admin mode'.

I hope lots of people donate as you did.

@sarah_edo I think you can tap the compass logo to toggle into that orientation. I'm with you on what is easier to parse, but have heard other say they prefer a consistent orientation to one that changes as the move. Brains are wierd!

Big love to our splendid audience & excellent acts. Only one more gig for the year (Dec 5th) before @leewilsoncomedy and I will put our feet up until Jan 9th.

Who knows, perhaps @CrownStA will generously lay on mince pies for us again. (Yes - the mince pie seal has been broken) https://twitter.com/comedyincrown/status/935835837786480640

@poshaughnessy @pvh @phae @diekus @Netlify @ThisIsJoFrank @SaraSoueidan Let me know if you have any questions about using @netlify Peter! I'm not a @GoHugoIO expert but really had fun working with it and adding some more sources and content to my site on Netlify via some @gulpjs build tasks.

@pvh @phae @diekus @Netlify @poshaughnessy @ThisIsJoFrank I moved from Jekyll to @GoHugoIO recently and loved the dev experience. If there were particular things about getting your site onto Netlify that caused that pain in the butt, and if you were happy to share, I'd be keen to hear about them.

Me: try it
Dev: ok fine

Tonight's @comedyincrown at @CrownStA will be in aid of St Albans & District Foodbank.

12 acts.
1 Christmas jumper.
Lots of fun.

And we'll be collecting food and money for this great local cause.

@noname8765 @resir014 @Netlify I hear that there was indeed a caching issue on a CDN somewhere which was impacting some users of http://app.netlify.com ...and that this should be resolved now. Want to give it another try?

@ChrisFerdinandi @smashingmag Yeah. The publishing workflows are really maturing nicely. I'm hoping for more nice "behind the scenes" case studies to show how @smashingmag's content workflow happens. But keep an eye on (and join the conversation to help steer) @netlifycms

@ChrisFerdinandi It's making very steady progress to v1.0, and is now being used by those clever bods at @smashingmag to power their content publishing.

Born out of the realisation that SSGs are great and all... but need a sensible authoring UI for those who are not developers. I'm a fan.
