The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

Settling in to a new 2018 routine working from home. But unsettled by how much Ashford and Simpson I seem to find myself listening to, and the amount of flamboyant air-bass that seems to provoke.

@_Nec @Netlify If you have a package.json in the root of your repo, 'npm install' will run before each build (we cache the install result until package.json changes).

But you can run different build commands depending on your your build context:

A great explanation of how to use @WordPress as a #headlessCMS to feed your #JAMstack site. In this case generated by Metalsmith. https://twitter.com/ddprrt/status/950280920975794176

Pleased to see another @jekyllrb site (and a good 'un, at that) move smoothly over from Github Pages to @Netlify to enjoy more of the world's Jekyll plugins and general control over the site delivery.

Welcome Jack! https://twitter.com/Jack_Franklin/status/950369116812120065

@DirtyF @Scott_Helme @troyhunt @Netlify You can configure any headers you like. Including your own custom headers.

https://www.netlify.com/docs/headers-and-basic-auth/

Keep in mind that Cache-Control headers will override Expires headers if you have both though.

@DinisCruz You got it! You need to add a Gemfile to specify the version of Jekyll you want to build with. The post you linked to should get you there.

@Netlify is agnostic of the SSG & build dependancies you choose. Rather than infer versions etc, we give you control to specify.

All set?

Full of pride to be a part of the same team as @lunaceee as she shares the experience of moving to SF, joining @netlify, and shipping a feature (one I use A LOT) within her first 24 hours.
