The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

Reminder that the first #JAMstack London Meetup is tonight at @rga. A few late dropouts have opened up a few more spaces.

Come for the talks. Stay for the cream teas, and the chance to win one of 2 free tickets to this week's @smashingconf.

@Nhiokh @Netlify Ok. Good to hear that you are back in business. It would be helpful if you could mention the issue to support (via your working Firefox view of the admin). Just so we can track it and see if anyone else had an issue.

Thanks!

@Nhiokh @Netlify That's odd. All seems ok for me here in London.

Might be worth trying from a different browser or in incognito mode to see if you can rule out an issue with a resource failing or being improperly cached.

ooooh. @hey_stac's All Day Hey conference was such a gem last year. So excited that I'll get the chance to return to Leeds to be a part of it again with @csswizardry @joshnesbitt and this formidable lineup:

So excited about visiting Hong Kong, about being a part of this line up, and about seeing my face in this bold, beautiful, bonkers site design. So good.

I can't wait! https://twitter.com/webconf_asia/status/960350144284712960

Sad to be missing #FOSDEM but happy to see that @VeryThorough is sharing some great experience and wisdom in her talk about approaches to documentation. An under-appreciated but hugely valuable part of any open source project. https://twitter.com/kvantomme/status/960109038003474434

@jan_joris @WesleyCabus @ddoomen @Netlify @NetlifyCMS @Cloudflare I see. (although that link 404s for me)

I've seen some use it for https, although you get free with a couple of clicks on Netlify thanks to @letsencrypt.

Meanwhile, Netlify now has more DNS tools built in so you can manage MX records and subdomains. https://www.netlify.com/blog/2017/12/19/an-easier-way-to-manage-domains-and-dns-on-netlify/

@robjloranger @bketelsen @nicholaswyoung @Netlify These tweets make me happy! Was that less than 30 minutes from saying "fine, I'll sign up on my phone" to having a site deployed (and finding a gif of an "easy" button)?

If so... BRAVO!

@martinjhnhadley @Netlify That may have been it. People in the team far smarter than me have created tools to spot spammy things.

They are also the folks who sorted this out. If you have any other issues, mentioning it to support is a good way to access those boffins who are happy to help.

@chrisdarroch @Bitbucket @github @gitlab That's too bad. Perhaps @Bitbucket can be persuaded to give this issue some ♥️

It was raised in 2012 but got a lot of discussion and seemed to be close to some action about a year ago.
