The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@kosamari @Netlify aaaah! I should have read it more closely too!

And thanks! I'll pass that on to the team. @VeryThorough leads the documentation effort and she'll be pleased to hear that they are still standing up the platform grows. That work is never done!

@kosamari FWIW, and since you've been dabbling with it already, you can have control over your headers on @Netlify by adding a _headers file to your repo. You have full control over your CSP headers.

If I'm learning anything from the World Cup this year, it's that footballers are still far more delicate than you might imagine.

This tumblr could get a bunch more content:

@nullvoxpopuli @Netlify @Cloudflare The CDN is custom built to span 7 cloud providers for resilience, and is designed to be excellent for small source files. It also houses some of the clever logic which powers features at the edge like A/B testing and redirect APIs. DNS by @NS1 (🔥)

No need to add anything else.

@SoloExceptional @Netlify Hey Toby, that's a pretty hefty build!

@Netlify offers longer build timeouts for enterprise clients. If you're not up for that, then I wonder if there are ways to make your build more efficient.

Is it generating loads and loads of pages? Or perhaps waiting for some slow APIs?

@jonnyburch @mattvagni @Netlify It depends a little on your use case, but we work hard on developer experience and provide continuous integration onto an intelligent multicloud CDN for resilience. A few highlights here:

I suggest emailing support@netlify.com if you are still having trouble. That team are the best people to help figure out what might be the problem.

@stubailo @orta @github @ArtsyOpenSource @Netlify Yes. Having a link to preview build directly in the PR is important for discoverability. It is pretty simple to set that up in @Netlify. I made a little video showing how that works.
