@zachleat @Netlify @eleven_ty Oh, such good times. I remember how things looked way back on the 20th of July when you tweeted that.
It was 6:40pm in England on a sunny evening. I'm sentimental, so I keep the build of every minute in every timezone. And the site looked like this:

@DerVonDenBergen @zachleat @Netlify @haroenv @bullgit Ha! And I thought we just reinvented clocks! Great minds...!
This one isn't recursive. There is a cron running on @auth0's @webtaskio to call the build webhook every minute.
But yeah... is it smart? ðģ

Bring it on.

@JacoKoster Oh... and it's a beaut of a PR too. Just you wait until I'm back at my keyboard!

@zachleat Inlined. ð

@zachleat ok. And then we can all be early for everything!
Thinking... this page updates every minute and reloads every 30 seconds... is inlining the CSS preferable in that situation? Currently it is externally cached so it only need to be snagged once.
Longer initla TTFP, better repeats

@zachleat Is "fastest clock on the web" a goal to strive for or not!?

@hankchizljaw @zachleat @chriscoyier @Netlify Hat tips go to @chriscoyier for the name inspiration, to @zachleat for the idea inspiration, and to the @Netlify platform team for not giving me a stern talking too for being silly.

@richhiggins I can hook you up... can I have a colleague DM you?

@chadanuk @RReverser @zachleat @chriscoyier @hankchizljaw @Netlify Oh! Duh!
This is just CSS.
OK, sold!

@chadanuk @RReverser @zachleat @chriscoyier @hankchizljaw @Netlify Tempting... but I'd quite like this to remain totally JavaScript-free.
My kingdom for the blink tag!

@JacoKoster @zachleat @chriscoyier @hankchizljaw @Netlify I must have missed it while I was smugly drinking a cup of tea while knowing for then first time ever, what time it is in Europe.

@zachleat @JacoKoster @chriscoyier @hankchizljaw @Netlify It is!
Although if you want your country to automatically resolve to one of the timezones... I invite you to submit a PR adding the geoIP detection to send traffic from the Netherlands to the Paris timezone.

@zachleat @chriscoyier @hankchizljaw @Netlify Only an idiot would make what you are suggesting.
