The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@patrickkettner @zachleat I'm afraid not. I don't believe that the redirects API on our CDN support routing based on the UA string. I'll explore a little, but I think you're out of luck on that at the mo.

I can only assume that either:

a. He's a fucking idiot
b. He's in the pocket of the coal industry
c. All of the above

Either way, I wonder what recoverable damage this fool will do to us all. https://twitter.com/blindambition/status/1067607549526962176

@jaffathecake Sadly not yet. We have an issue open for this and are considering how/when it will land.

I'd just start begging @phae.

@AndyDavies @Netlify Thanks for this. I had been running the same test and found better results when using our post processing optimisation. (A check box)

Still not perfect however, so I'm talking about that with people smarter than I.

Happy 1st birthday, @eleven_ty!
My, how you've grown!

Genuine kudos to @zachleat for his work on this. A side project managed with the upmost care and respect. I find much to learn from how Zach works with the community and manages the project. Hats off!

Delighted to see this launching!

When your infrastructure spans multiple cloud providers around the world, and you normalise things to simplify the work for developers, delivering IPv6 support is far from trivial. Interesting insights from the @netlify team in this post. https://twitter.com/Netlify/status/1067113319608258561

@chaseadamsio @biilmann @awscloud @Netlify That would be nice!
I'm here until Thursday. Aside from #reInvent activities I'm not yet sure of my movements. It might be fiddly, but it would be lovely if we could make something work.

2 trips remaining for this year:

👉 Vegas for @AWS re:invent
👉 York for @gouyclub's Christmas special at @PocklingtonArts

Looking forward to heading to back to my home town of York, to join the @frontendyork meetup. There aren't many places available, so move fast if you want to join us for talks on kanban from @srwestons, performance from @AndyCallaghan, and on @Netlify and the #JAMstack from me. https://twitter.com/frontendyork/status/1066632587848925184

Got questions about @Netlify?

Maybe you want to know how to use a feature.
Or how something works behind the scenes.

Whatever your questions, @futuregerald and I are planning to have a go at answering them. Just ask.
