I wish I found it easier to answer the question, "What is @Netlify?"
Will you please help me?
What is @Netlify?

RT @mxbck: ✏️ new post: auto-publishing content from your static site to twitter! #indieweb https://mxb.at/blog/syndicating-content-to-twitter-with-netlify-functions/ cc @_marcusherrmann @ph…

@CreativeGuy2013 @Netlify Your instinct is correct!

@LashaKrikheli @kurtiskemple @gatsbyjs @Netlify Form submissions can also fire webhooks so you can integrate with anything that can receive those. Or you could respond via a serverless function. @Netlify provides automated function triggers on form submissions to make that easier:

@Zephraph @Netlify In addition to [skip ci] you can also nominate which branches are built automatically and which are not (in your deploy settings) and you can also lock deploys. Hopefully one of those options helps.

@NikkitaFTW Hush up and put on your club blazer.

@mxbck @_marcusherrmann @eleven_ty @Netlify Ooh. I think that event-triggered functions could do you nicely here.
A successful deploy could trigger a serverless function automatically. And that could then post suitable content from your notes to twitter.

@desandro My own site is @eleven_ty on @Netlify
With updates triggered and content slurped in from @Twitter, @Instagram and @benotist

@CodeFoodPixels @Netlify Yep.

@michaelsoolee You might find Zapier useful. It can kick off builds based on a schedule:

@develogue @Netlify Oh, that's genius.
Happy to help if there are aspects of env vars which are still causing confusion. (And thanks for that feedback. That already helps us and our tireless docs team)
