The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@bridgetstewart Oh good point!
In short, I run a Gulp watcher task concurrently with eleventy --serve. I do so via yarn, but you don't have to.

I've added a little more to the end of that post to try to clarify. I hope that makes more sense now.

Brilliant!

I've been wanting to do this for some time... but then @mxbck implements Webmentions beautifully on his @eleven_ty site and shares exactly how with more clarity than I could have hoped for.

Yoink!

@hadefication @Netlify The limit on the free tier is 15 minutes. Usually that is plenty unless your site is very large or complex.

You can:

- Look for failing or lingering processes in your build (this can help: https://www.netlify.com/blog/2018/11/28/fearless-deploys-for-your-lingering-processes/)
- Contact us to talk quotas/tiers

I bet optimisations will win.

Full disclosure - I'll be presenting this in English. My Dutch is still not at the level I'd like :) https://twitter.com/fronteers/status/1082657684019658752
