@shreyas_satish @Netlify I'm not a @jekyllrb expert, but you can specify which version of ruby to use in @netlify and specify which version of Jekyll to use in your Gemfile.

@daveverwer Sorry about that Dave. (And 👋 Dave!)
I hear that we had a short (~3 minute) disruption to part of our logging infra, which caused that. And it coincided with a hiccup during an update to our support form automation.

@DanjelvdWal @Netlify Yes! Occasionally companies need the repo (no problem) and even the build bots (our sales team can talk about) to be on-prem or in a particular geo.
But more often there is confusion about hosting on a server, vs hosting static assets on a CDN as close to users as possible.

@ArtWorked @ChrisFerdinandi @rem Classy.

@CodeFoodPixels @webtaskio @leedsjs \o/

@DanjelvdWal @Netlify Sounds like you might want a detailed conversation with that client about what they mean by "hosting". Netlify disrupts the traditional idea of origin servers since all hosting is direct from the CDN. But exotic setups for the build infra is possible.

LOLing at @layoutfm:
@rafahari: My laptop melts when I use this monitor.
@vernalkick: Is it a GPU thing?
@rafahari (instantly): Pfft, I don’t know how computers work.
