The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@sil @hdv This is my preferred technique and logic. I also like the mouth feel you get by having a layer of thick, cold cream on the top.

But here's the real secret, and most critical thing about this:
The correct way is whichever way makes you happy.

@zachleat @brad_frost video alt:
A mouse pointer creeps ominously closer and closer towards the "downvote" icon on Zach's previous tweet about Twitter needing a "this is a bit much" button.

But it doesn't click it because it's hard to disagree with this sentiment.

@DavidDarnes I guess that comes back to how git branches and your git workflow work. But you could already do this by having two site projects which use the same repo/branch. You can already manage their env vars independently.

This was designed by our wonderful design team and implemented by the lovely @hexagoncircle. I think this codepen is a good demo of the carousel code:
