@jpwain @slightlylate @Netlify I can help with that:
Each deploy (on any branch / deploy preview) gets a unique URL so the specific build can always be addressed. That's the permalink.
Deploy previews & branch builds also get a URL which always shows the latest build in that context. Good to share and track.

@slightlylate @Netlify That's fair. Thanks, I'll pass it along to the team and reference this in discussions for future.

@slightlylate @Netlify Ok. Useful feedback.
So far the biggest pushback I've seen is people asking for this to be possible to turn off through an option. Which was sensible and was swiftly added.

@slightlylate @Netlify Eh?
This is not present on:
- production builds
- branch builds
- permalinks of any builds.
It is on deploy previews on the URL for the head of the PR.
And you can turn it off with one click for any site.

@slightlylate @Netlify It's optional.
You can disable it in your site admin.
It's also only added the deploy preview main URL and not to the permalink URLs for each build.

@iChris @cassidoo @Tzmanics @jlengstorf After that recording, this may be the least of @jlengstorfās troubles.

@danmaharry @brucel There are not.
I'm sorry, Dan.
This was a surprise find in a regular packet.
I think I won the biscuit lottery.

@toddmorey My first call after finding the biscuit was to the newspapers.
My second was to book a studio for the photo shoot.

@brucel I approve this name.
As would Custard Cream King, had I not tearfully bitten him in twain and washed him down with a mouthful of tea.

Holy bonus biscuits, Batman. I just hit the custard cream jackpot with a freak triple decker. What magical world is this?

@jadenguitarman @DavidDarnes @JamstackLondon @kapehe_ok @frontstuff_io * adds this as a requirement *

@DavidDarnes @JamstackLondon @kapehe_ok @frontstuff_io Absolutely!
"London" is just because this used to be an in-person get together. It may be again soon. But for now, it's online and planned for a UK-friendly time.
I'm inclined to ask all speakers to deliver talks in a cockney accent though. (Having just enjoyed yours)
