The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

We'll investigate. No reason that this podcast can't be available everywhere.

🎧 The new podcast from the @Netlify DX team is Remotely Interesting.

We hope.

Keen to know if people enjoy listening to this as much as @Tzmanics, @sarah_edo, @cassidoo, @shortdiv, @jlengstorf, and I enjoy recording it!

@gehlertn I was being sarcastic in that tweet. Yeah all of these exist and have significant expertise and investment behind them.

Expand your team’s capabilities via an API call thanks to the likes of @auth0, @stripe, @Netlify and so on.

I don't trust experts who provide complex services like payments, identity, and CDN management to do a good enough job unless they work *here*.

But I trust my team, and we're good at web development so let's build all of those too.

And maintain them forever.

@remotesynth @stackbithq I also find the argument that depending on third party services is bad, weak.

Better to become experts in building, and maintaining auth, db, payments, hosting in house too?!

No thanks. I’ll work with experts via their APIs which are their core business.
